We are each exposed to thousands of marketing messages every day—in print, online, just about everywhere. How can your organization stand out and get the attention you need? How can you carve out a distinctive place in the minds of your stakeholders in all of your communications? This program will review the concepts of identifying target audiences, positioning strategy and branding, and then focus on how to develop impact messages for specific audiences.
This workshop covers:
- Understanding audiences’ perceptions, values, needs, and wants
- Determining scheme and components of overall positioning strategy
- Matching audience impact messages with key features of the positioning strategy
- Customizing communications for specific media
Presenters Marjorie Bauer and Debra Yanofsky are former Fidelity Investments marketing executives who are now consultants with Empower Success Corps. Empower Success Corps provides volunteer consulting services to nonprofits.
