Cary Library Meeting Room

Julia Cosentino and David Orlinoff

Many organizations struggle to understand matters of law and finance. An experienced attorney and CFO will discuss the top do’s and don’ts of nonprofit governance and financial stewardship. You will learn about the duties of directors, liability risks and protections, and fiduciary responsibility and disclosure rules for reporting on your activities. Bring your questions!

Our presenters are Julia Satti Cosentino and David Orlinoff.

Julia is a partner in the Nutter McClennen & Fish Private Client Department and co-chair of the Nonprofit and Social Impact practice group. She is experienced in complex estate and tax planning, probate and trust administration and guardianship, as well as in advising exempt organizations. Julia focuses on counseling both public charities and private foundations on organizational structure and operation, including fundraising, grantmaking, tax compliance and reporting, and strategic planning. She also advises philanthropists on all aspects of charitable giving. Julia serves as trustee or director of a number of private trusts and foundations.

David is the founder of Concord Financial Organization, which provides financial and strategic consulting and financial and operating management services. The company has a diversified client base in the for-profit middle market and in the not-for profit sector.
